Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins

Those delectable morning muffins everyone craves have been shunned by the health conscious for being high in calories and in fat. Here is a recipe to help repair the reputation of the sweet morning treat.



Ingredients

Apple Cinnamon Protein Muffins
  • 2 scoops Muscle Gauge Nutrition Pure Whey Isolate- Apple Coffee Crumb Cake flavor
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • pinch of kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2tsp nutmeg
  • 12 Tbsp egg whites
  • 1 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt 1 medium apple diced (I used a Granny Smith)

Cooking Instructions

Mix EVERYTHING together until you get thick, batter consistency

Pour batter into a sprayed or nonstick muffin tin

Bake at 350 degrees ~18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean
