Buttermilk Cornbread

Prepare this dish for any family dinner and we can guarantee that there will not be a crumb left over. This recipe is a sure fire favorite.


Buttermilk Cornbread
  • 2 scoops Muscle Gauge Nutrition Pure Whey Isolate- Vanilla flavor
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 can of corn kernels
  • 2 eggs (beaten)

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F

Melt butter in a pan over medium heat and add sugar, stirring well add the 2 eggs to mixture quickly and stir in the milk

Add the remainder of dry ingredients to the mixture and make sure the lumps are gone, then add the corn to the mix

Pour into a sprayed 8x8 bake until a toothpick comes out clean - about 35-40 minutes
